Re: 1990 brake light switch

First time in the site and I have been fighting my brake light switch adjustment for three months. Chevy Tech was the first to mention the protrusion that it must slid onto in addition to the clip over the round shaft at the top. I was wondering why the switch body had so much movement affected by the brake pedal arm. I am going back under the dash this weekend to remount the switch and find that protrusion so maybe the adjustment will work this time.
