Has anyone ever heard....

I was talking to a guy I work with who is restoring a rustang for his wife. He told me that a shop he gets a lot of his sheetmetal and advice from has been using Liquid Nails as seam sealer on there rustangs. Sounds far fetched to me, but he it was coming from those ford guys. Also while on the subject, who made a good and cheap seam sealer, I am almost to that stage.

3M MAKES THE BEST ...IMO...
COMES IN A FOIL BAG AND REQUIRES A CAULK TYPE GUN.....
STAYS FLEXABLE....KICK BUTT STUFF.....
IT'S NEW STUFF...DON'T BE AFRAID TO LOOK AROUND TO FIND IT...

A GOOD AUTOMOTIVE PAINT SUPPLYER SHOULD HAVE IT....
