Keep it. You never know when you might want to go back stock. JMO.

Definitely keep it , make sure you pickle it ( oil in cylinders ,heavy dose of wd40 on carb ) Florida humidity kills stored engines .if you do decide to sell it or parts off it let me know ! 😁 my daughter lives in south beach and can handle shipping

If I sell it, what would be a fair price? would come with motor mounts, fan, pullys, the new carb, aircleaner (new element), etc.

Re: Opinions on my old engine - keep/sell

Well, I've sold numerous big blocks (vanilla 396s, not high end stuff) running in good condition for $650, so I'd guess $250 for a six-banger. I'd keep it for sure.

Then again I would have left the six in it to be cool and different, but it's not me that has to live with it or store it in either case!

Re: Opinions on my old engine - keep/sell

I would think the power steering setup would be worth a couple hundred by itself.

I don't doubt there are cases where a good set of accessory brackets for some cars are worth as much as the engine itself!

Sell the 350 and rebuild the six with some cool speed parts.

Re: Opinions on my old engine - keep/sell

L6 AC and P/S brackets are rare. Too bad for me it's a 250, since 292s had a unique P/S bracket.

2nd vote for keeping it and selling the 350, lol. I'd keep it and make my kid rebuild it when she gets old enough.
