Re: opinions on value of bed?

With the rust and dents is say 100 bucks. Although I don't know what the demand is in your area.

Re: opinions on value of bed?

Just depends how bad someone wants it,I would ask 300 to 250 or best offer and wait for calls.

Re: opinions on value of bed?

It's a solid bed for a work truck. Sounds fair enough to me.

In these parts it would have a sign that said "FREE OR BEST OFFER". If it still had the frame and rear end under it and could be made in to a trailer, then it would be in the $400 range.

Re: opinions on value of bed?

Probably depend on what the guy buying it wants it for and what supply & demand looks like in that area. If someone just needs a beater bed like Al said and isn't throwing any more money at it you might sell it. If someone is doing a restoration and has to drop additional money they will most likely keep looking. Figure another 100 bucks in patch panels and 60 in welding gas + wire. Then you have paint removal, body work, primer, paint which will probably run another 100 - 200 in material. That's if a guy can do his own work.

Try 300, if it doesn't sell you can always adjust.
