72 custom 10 steering shaft question

I am trying to swap steering columns in a 72 Chevy custom 10. I have steering column from a 1977 Chevy half ton pickup that I would like to swap. The size on the shafts are different. Does anyone know if they make adaptors for these? Or where I could get a new shaft. Lmē has the whole shafts but I would rather not spend $280.
Thanks on advance.

Looking at it closer, I think I just need a new shaft u joint. Anyone know what size and how many spline they would be for a 78? Thanks.
