1967 GMC PU For Sale Oregon

1967 GMC C1500 1/2 Wideside LWB Pick-up This is my grandmothers (in-law) Her husband past away last year and she is ready to sell this.

He originally bought this truck and had it delivered straight from the factory to his door. (I have the originally break down of the price. $3,184.65)

Based on the Nada Guides value explanations this truck is rated somewhere between the Average and High Retail value. Which would make this vehicle worth around $14,130.00, but as I am sure you know, things are only worth what someone is willing to pay!

85,052 original miles....everything is original as far as I have been told. Except for the Baby Half Moon wheels, (All of the original hubcaps are avaiable, just not on.) and the mirrors. (Which are also available, but not on.)

This truck is in such nice condition! There is minor wear of course due to its age but it really is almost perfect.

I have A LOT more pictures available as well... I just didn't want to overload this thread.

The truck is located in Albany, Oregon which is about 1.5 hours south of Portland.

If your interested e-mail me.

She is asking $9,700.00 and I am not sure if there is much negotiating room or not. My mother-in-law is mostly handling this and I think they will accept offers as well!

Thanks,
Bethany

nice truck! sorry to tell you this, but the grille is incorrect. it should have "GMC" stamped in the center of the crosshairs.
but still a very purdy truck!

Here is the info that I have...
This is a three speed, 6 cylinder engine. It has am/fm radio, and the last picture shows what extras he ordered originally.
Here are more pictures... I don't know if it will tell you much. Those are most of the options that I know of. I will find out more information about the engine size and such.

Sorry for all the posts.... I am learning how to do this and I am consulting with my husband and other family members who know a little more about the truck.

Please keep asking questions though!

You've got that big ol' 305 V6! That's one sweet truck.

Is that a stock seat GMC experts?

This is by no means to degrade or slight but there are a couple of things that stick out as odd to me:

1. The horizontal pleats on the door panels. If memory serves they should be vertical and spaced wider, at least they are in 67 Chevys.

2. The seat and it's pleats too. GMC's did have cloth inserts even in 67 but the material does not look OE (but the pic is not too clear).

Love that 305 with PS and PB too! Certainly a well kept vehicle

Arm wrestle you for the hubcaps and the horn button!

It could be a 351 V-6.

Wow! Thanks everyone for the great feedback.

I now know that there is a LOT more to learn. My family wants to get this truck listed on eBay, but I feel like we need more information.

The seats were redone as well as the interior door panel.
As for the grille, I am told that it is original, but that doesn't seem right to me.
The belief is that the engine is a 351..."that is what dad always said." But it does say right on that paper "Engine 305........"

Thanks again for all the help.
I will post a pic. of the original hubs when I get a chance to take one, and it sounds like they may be willing to sell them separately.

Any other advice? Suggestions? Let me know....

Bethany

A 305 in these trucks is rare, but a 351 is real rare.

Could anybody help me identify the mirrors that are on this very nice looking truck? I'm interested in the bracket that the mirror mounts too. Personally, I like the bad-a$$ look that it gives the truck. At a stance or coming at ya'. A friend of mine has this set up on his truck, (stainless steel), it's been 23 years since he put 'em on. To this day the truck & mirrors still kick a$$!! Problem is neither of us remembers where he got them, who made them, or if they're aftermarket or original. I've found them in painted steel, with rust. I also found a similar style on a '67 Chevy van, but they didn't extend out as far. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry 67 GMCPU for interupting your post, but I like those mirrors. Good luck with the truck.
Take Care

None the less, that is a really sweet truck. That 305 does look huge in there huh?

Well, thanks again for all the input. I still have not gotten to take any pictures of the hubs but I will be sure to post them when I do.
Can anyone tell me about decoding the VIN? I have decoded most of it, but there are some random numbers between the GVW and the body style. Are these just part of the serial code? (I thought the serial # was at the end?)
Thanks again,
Bethany
