Almost done!!
With college...not my truck
My last class is Friday, the 19th!! I officially graduate June 12th with my Associates degree in Computer Science. I knew college was challenging but I never really appreciated having a job until I was in college. With "most" jobs, you put in your 8-10 or 12 hours at work and then are done. With college, you're never done. There's always that assignment or project that needs to be completed when you get home from class. I'm thinking of getting a certificate in PC electronics next year and possibly an A+ certification in the future to add to my degree. I already have a good job with a great (small) company that wants me to start full-time as soon as my classes are finished. Hopefully soon I'll have the money I need to really work on my truck. Just wanted to share my accomplishment with my chevy family

Hey Heather!
Nice to see you back....sorry I havent really kept intouch. If you look in the readers rides section, I posted a few pictures of my truck after plaing at the hoover ponds for a while. Is your truck still broken? and if it is I should be free and clear next weekend if you need a hand with something. I'll be stuck here for spring break, so just let me know. Also, congrats on the graduation!! That is definetly exciting and i know how the "always more work to do" goes....:P

Congrats on your accomplishment Heather. It's hard to stay focused on anything in life these days, much less an education. Now get out there full time so you can make some mod money...

Congrats!!! It's not easy when you have a family and such to go back. My wife and I are taking turns. She's almost done and then I'm going back probably next year.
The A+ is something that is always good to get too if you will be where you will need to work PCs at all. Plus unlike some certs it never expires. All the big computer makers require it the last time I looked to do any warrenty work. They made me get it a few years back when I worked at a Compaq/HP service center. Keep at it! Mike |
