Sheet metal guage?
I know this maybe common knowledge but what guage sheet metal is out truck's made out of..

Originally 19gauge for body panels,& 15gauge steel for braces & such. The body panels that GM was stamping last for replacement panels such as rockers and such was stepped down to a 21 gauge steel in the mid to late 80's.
