dump truck ques
I have spyed a 67 chevy dump truck in a barn near here. I have been working on getting them to sell it, and getting close. Now, when I do get to it, what do I check? I know the basics, drums, engine freed(not really a concern--small bock time), mainly, I am concerned with the hyd. for the bed and if the breaks are run through them. From what I can see, it is a nearly rust free truck and would be a perfect fit with my 72 stepside. I will be using this truck for its purpose ( I own a small concrete finishing company) and was looking at a new dump, but I am a pushover for the greatest style GM ever put out.

I dont think the hidraulics run through the brakes, The dump is usually a PTO driven pump and the brakes could be anything from Air, to regular Hydraulics. JMO

I doubt it is air brakes, I forgot about pto, they are pretty indestructible. Sounds like a brake and fuel tank cleaning, then try and get it running (maybe)
