Re: vortec 350 aftermarket intake & bypass
Do not use RTV anywhere except the front and back of the manifold like normal, do not put any on the gasket or bolts. As for the water bypass, I honestly have no idea what your talking about. I've had a vortec 350 from a 99 3/4ton that I converted to RPM intake and pulled the plastic timing cover for a normal chrome aftermarket and put it in my 79. After that I pulled it and put it in my 78. Everything hooks up normal.
