Good looking, off-road capable '64 - '66 workhorse [WTB]
Hello all,
I'm interested in a "good looking, off-road capable workhorse", that is, a '64 - '66 Chevy K-10 or K-20 (4x4) and would be very glad, if this (very well informed) community could help me out (due to the fact that I'm outside the US). Must-haves:
Nice to have (but no dealbreaker if not):
What's ok:
What's NOT ok:
Other info:
Please feel free to PM (preferred) or post finds on Craigslist, Ebay, vendors or other internet sites / sources. Please don't forget the board rules. Huge thanks for your help in advance! P.S. to get an idea: something like this as a 4x4 would be quite close to what I'm (sort of) looking for. |

64-66 4X4's are my hobby and life. I'm not trying to be negative but good luck trying to find what you have described for under $8,000. A beat up rust bucket and probably not running is what you are going to find for that price. Most 4x4's were used, abused modified etc. and the few that weren't you will pay a premium price for them for the condition you have described.

I hate to say it but 66Gilbert is probably correct. Oh you may get lucky and most around here will be happy to keep their eyes open but a K series truck in the condition you listed is likely to be double the price you listed. As just an example take a look at this one. Not quite what your looking for but it will give you an idea. http://www.oldcaronline.com/1966-Che...campaign=oodle Now granted, I think this one is a bit on the high side price wise. I doubt it will sell at that price, but if it was listed for 7k-8k it would likely sell fairly quickly. here is another example http://www.oldcaronline.com/1966-Che...e-ID703934.htm I'll be happy to keep my eyes open for you and maybe you can get lucky. I wish you the best of luck.
