If that piece is an ERG valve, would it have a steel line running down to the trans? I haven't been on the forum for a few days but I seem to remember that someone mentioned that it was most likely a vacuum modulator for the passing gear kick down. I'm still learning all of the in's and out's of this motor and all basics of engine mechanics. To be honest, I'd make a terrible mechanic. Anywho, thanks for all the input. It helps a lot. Have a great weekend if I don't hear from you guys.
