BBC headers for lowered C10

Ok, so I'm calling BS on those who say Hooker 2455 headers work in a C10. I'm over an inch above the exhaust ports on the drivers side and the number 1 tube is all over the frame mount. No amount of "clearancing" is going to make that work. If you've been able to make these work, please tell me how???? Oh, and on another waste of money note, the stainless ebay mid-length headers don't work either. Drivers side fits like a glove, passenger side.... no way.

Re: BBC headers for lowered C10

Is that the stock truck frame? If Hooker says they will fit and they dont then send them back. Its only the custom stuff they wont make returns on. Like the front clip trucks and such.

I have 2 sets myself that wont work but its customizing time for me.

Sanderson BB8...had them in my 73 with a 454 and 5.5" front drop. Loved them.
