59 Roll Pan & Bumper?
Hey Guys,
On the rear of my 59 fleetside......has anyone on this forum ever installed the custom rear roll pan our vendors sell and then cut slots in the pan for the original bumper brackets to pass through and finally installed a chrome rear bumper? Just thinking about that rather than installing a chrome bumper without the filler pan.....the rear area is very "open". Any one done this yet? Thanks Tod |

Re: 59 Roll Pan & Bumper?
I bought a 58 one time that had the roll pan. I like a bumper. I just used one bracket on each side & cut a little slot in the roll pan. It was plenty stout. I could raise the rear with a bumper lift & it did not give at all.
