Question about the blinkers

What is that piece called that connects the wiper switch to the blinker mechanism in a 1988 Chevy Truck?

Mines broke and I need to replace it. I tried to bend it up because I converted my truck to wipers with delay and it wouldn't let my left turn signal work without either modifying this piece or cutting the steering column out where the blinker lever can travel.

Nevermind. I found out what it is. Its a turn signal actuator arm and you cant buy it anymore so I am forced with the decision to gorilla glue it back together.

I don't think glue will work. It looks rusty

I'd hit the junk yard. Those were used in MANY years, makes and models of vehicles. Look for a similar shaped column
