how many aliment shims to add

Starting to get the front back together. But my cross member was already already apart befor I received it. so I don't know how many shims I need to get it close so I can drive it to the nearest tire shop for a aliment after.... its a 1970 c10 350 th400 p/s disk in front going to run 15rims on a 255/60s tires. Just trying to get it close.. thanks..

Put a 2ft level on your tire and try to be about a 1/4 bubble out at the top, that's about how many you'll need to get close.

I mite try that.. my drive way sits on a incline but hope to get it close..
