Finally shaved the gas filler hole

Thought I would share a couple pics of the gas filler hole deletion on my cab. <br><br>

This first pic is of the hole, of course.

this is just the tin I used to weld in the hole. Had to pie cut it because of the curve of the hole.

This is the finished product. Between the welding and adding some filler for finish, I forgot to take progress pics! Doh!

hey nice job from a red headed irishman & a happy ST. Patty's to u & urs. what tank did u end up with & where did u stuff it. got a 65 i am just looking at starting & want to do the same thing.

Happy St. Patty's to you too. Bought a 20 gal aluminum fuel cell from Summit. Gonna stick it in the rear. Will post pic of that once I get to that point. Thanks!
