I'm Joe, 19, and live in St. louis MO. I work at domino's pizza delivering, before you knock it, I make roughly $18 an hour and only $5.15 that is taxed. Now what happens to that money, well rent, beer, women, and everything that I can possibly buy for my 69 swb in no proticular order. I graduated Affton high school and south tech high where I took auto collision repair (Important title for a body man) and now am attending Ranken technical high where I also take auto body.

Yeah, thats the difference between the States and Canada. We have to become an Apprentice. We work for about 1000 hrs on the job and then go to school for 2 months. We have to do this 4 times and then we get a certificate saying that we are qualified to legally build houses etc. It really blows. (I like to think of myself kinda like Jesus) (J/K)

hope it didnt sound like I was dissin on you because I definately wasnt. As you might know im a carpenter too and we all know mike was (and is @ heart).

What kind of carpentry are you planning on doing? I tell ya what, I have a lot of respect for anyone whos a carpenter outside of so-cal. Around here, we draw a circle in the dirt and if 3 rain drops hit it, we roll up. As for cold, it never gets below 50 degrees or so

snow? sleet, ice, wind, rain storms. UGH.

the united states has apprenticeships through labor unions. I served a apprenticeship as feild construction boilermaker so has MY my younger brother. My father served a apprenticeship as a carpenter . Building trade unions still have apprenticeships. Best way to earn a book and get to the A list.

Out of the 12 carpenters in my family my grandfather was the only one with a degree. And he is the only one who retired before his body gave out.

I'm Lucas, another 19 year old currently enrolled in college with a Engineering degree. Going for a major in Geological Engineering it looks like, just like 8t5Silverado
