[Pic] Aww, no more cab moulding! :)

Well, so I didn't get that much done today, but my friend DID fill all my holes in my cab/bed and helped me take off my cab moulding. He said for me to bring it back next weekend, because he was helping his family wet-sand their mustang (66 Shelby Clone with a Roller 302.).

Hey Tim, I am going to do the same thing this spring. How did you fill them? I was thinking of wending them close. But I don't have alot of welding skill. Not sure if bondo would hold up? What are you doing??

My friend used a wirefeed welder, then we're gonna go back over it with aluminum fill and sand it smooth, then apply primer.

Slowly...we're gonna shave everything except the drip rails (Because IMHO they're 100% functional and NEEDED.). My friend is doing that and pulling out all the little dents and stuff, and even welding/smoothing my roll pan all for $200

If you shave everything but the drip rails, it may not look great. Are you shaving the door handles too? I have no drips rails and the difference isn't noticeable.

I'm on the fence about the handles, but I'm 90% Sure they're going too. I MIGHT shave the driprails...I'll have to wait and see..

You are going to shave the door handles but not the drip rails. I suppose if you can't get into the truck, you don't have to worry about the dew dripping on you.
