i have a 69 gmc 1/2 ton 2wd. Truck has leaf springs in rear, I called Brothers and was told i could only lower 4 inches without a c-notch. I have heard from others that i could go 5 or 6. Anybody know? Thanks

I would say that's about it before you start bottoming out on bump stops. installing a small notch from places like CPP is a breeze. Do the notch and you can easily do a 5-7 drop with no bottoming out.
