T5 and driveshaft angle 1963
Just wondering what you guys thought on the driveshaft angle I have going on...just got the driveshaft in and wondered if she's not off too much..I think it looks better in the pic than what it is...I think we strive for 15 degrees or less? ...thank you for your input in advance.

How much did you have to shorten your driveshaft? |

It was only about 4-5 " I think the ear to ear on centre was 52 7/16"..I'm lowered 5" in rear though .

You want the tranny output parallel to the pinion.

One other thing to know is to not set your pinion angle until you have the truck sitting like you want with all the weight on it.

I added weight to compensate for the cab..I think I'm ok with what I can see...thank you for the help ...

Driveshafts must have opposite angles to function properly.
Ujoints need the offset to function properly. If the driveshaft is going "down" at 2 or 3 degrees at the trans the pinion end need to go "up" 2 or three degrees.

Thank you Lucifer in Simcoe! ....I'm going to wait until the cab and all the stuff is on the truck then I can set the proper angles..weight seems to play with the set up....
