I just bought a 70 442 convertible. anyone know of a message/parts board like this for cars ?/ Thanks

YES!!!!!

Go to www.realoldspower.com where some of the fastest Oldsmobiles come out to play. We currently have the 2 fastest body cars out there (the laurer/trovato team with both in the low 8's) and the founders of the site are running a twin turbo diesel block based dragster that they're hoping to get into the 5's this year. They'll help ya out with whatever you need. I'm shortymac83 over there too.

oh yeah, Tom, if you want to live, don't mention 442.com or oldsmobileracersonline.com on realoldspower.

Another site for those of you with G body cutlasses would be oldspower.com. Mostly younger guys with 307's.

most of the ROP guys take the 442.com FAQ's with a grain of salt and think that most of the people on the forums don't know what they're talking about, and ORO (they say) has turned to **** in the past 4 years or so. The admin on ORO was and still is an ass. Heck, most of the ROP founding members came from ORO and 442.com because they were disgusted with the boards

I've had my '64 442 site up since '97(check sig)
and get alot of guys asking where a good messege board is..

I'll have to try it out now..

That's a gorgeous 442. I like those 64's a lot. Anyway, a couple of the members (crown14, blue44deuce, strange magic) should be taken with a grain of salt, but that's about the only warning I'm gonna give you on that site.
