Rear disc swap dilemma.

I'm trying to do a home brew rear disc brake swap. I'm running into a couple issues. I want an emergency brake. So, everything points me to the Eldorado/Seville rear calipers. But what rotors do I use? I can't use the Cadillac ones, because they're 5x4.75 bolt pattern. I've read about people using the 99-01 AWD Astro van rotors, because they are slip-on style and 5x5, but they are 1.25" rotors and not 1" like the Cadillacs. So, I'm assuming that won't work. At this point, after a lot of googling, I have found a rotor that will work and a caliper that will work, but not a combo that will work together. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Rear disc swap dilemma.

Take a look at the Vendors Marketplace. Capt Fab offers brackets that utilize the correct rotors and calipers.

Re: Rear disc swap dilemma.

Use the Camaro solution. Eldo calipers are pricey.

Re: Rear disc swap dilemma.

Most Caddys' are 5 x 5 bolt pattern. You can just buy new 77-79 Seville/Fleetwood rotors at the parts stores. FWIW I hate those rear disc systems with a passion. You will never have a decent parking brake, just enough to barely pass inspection.

Can you not use the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT rear rotors for a C10?
