Let us know how that works. Always something to learn. It seemed a great way to tell the early drum 6-lugs (all GM 1/2t) from the '71-up K/10 wheels. But there was that member who showed he mounted some 3-nubs on his K/10 with discs. Other companies made wheels besides the OEM suppliers and maybe they had/have centers made to fit discs but their stamps have 3-nubs. The question doesn't really come up for 5-lugs since all those "factory" wheels were made for disc brakes.

I would see these 15 x 8 5 on 5 steelies are a swap meet, but they had 3-nubs. I passed them up a few times. I figured they were from an earlier big Ford car with drums. But also one bead was pretty rusty, or I may have gave them a try.
