My 1974 GMC has the same style of mirrors, but mine are busted out and warped from when it rolled down a hill and side-swiped a tree. Checking Google didn't yield much except for mixed results, seeing 1974's with them, a few late 60's to early 70's, and so on.

Went on a little easy wheelin' adventure today. It was fun and the truck handled it great. There was some transfer case whine in low. Not terrible, but I'm gonna have to look into that.
