My first square..

I traded my 2003 Silverado for my first 83 C10 last weekend. Title for title. I absolutely love this truck and everything about it.

Thanks Tommy. It's a 83 C10 SWB 305/TH350, auto, tilt, A/C. Odometer reads 54k, don't know if that's actual but it does work. The cab corners have been worked over at some point but shes pretty straight.

A short background...I tried for a year to buy it from a guy at work. I know that he paid $5,000.00 cash for it. I kept throwing him offers, My highest was $6,000.00 but he wanted more. So I said screw it, and started looking for something else. I came across this local truck and picked it up for $5,500.00. After the guy at work got a look at my new 03 he started throwing out "lets trade" hints so I took him up on it. Drove it to his house last Saturday morning....by noon he sent a text "Lets Trade"! that afternoon the 83 was sitting in my garage. I couldn't believe it. I technically got the truck for 500 less than I offered him and he had just dumped $540 on the A/c the week before to get it working again.

Thanks. It's lower now and I picked up these 5 spokes from a friend that had them in his barn. I was at my daughters school Friday and this guy walks up and throws out a "not for sale" price. It's almost to good to pass up. As she sits now.

Re: My first square..

I'm not usually a fan of the big wheels and short tires, but man does that look good. That is like 1000 times better than than the other pic, and I thought it was good in the first one. I've never had a lowered truck or even wanted one but that's about enough to make me change my mind. BTW, who has those kind of wheels just sitting around "in the barn"?

Thank you sir. These Indiana roads don't like rubber band tires none too much either. I'm fortunate to know the guy with the wheels. He's the kind of guy that if he doesn't have it he know who does.
