Looks nice. What are the specs on the engine?

The engine is just a GM Goodwrench new crate engine. It is only rated at 200 HP with 300 Foot Pounds of torque. The heads are center bolt swirl ports. The compression is 9.25:1. I did take the stock cam out and put a mild COMP computer controlled cam into it (PN# 12-304-4).

I also bought a bored out TBI from VIC Morse, with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I had the stock aluminum intake bored out to match the TBI. I added a 5-QT oil pan to it as well, along with a steel sleeved oil pump drive.

I will get some mid-length headers for it in the future, and do some custom tuning to the OBD-I ECM as well. all of these mods should add another 50 HP, at least, to the stock engine output.

Is the trans and case original to the truck?

Yes. This truck has the original 4L80E transmission and 205 transfer case it came with from the factory. The 4L80E/205 combo was only available for 1-year...1991.

I see in your sig you have a 1979 Crew Cab with a 4L80E/205 combo transplanted into your rig. Are you running it with a stand alone computer?

Yeah I am using a tci stand alone unit, it has been flawless for years. I was fortunate enough to find a 91 trans and tcase, it has been awesome.
