67-70 Vs 73-81 Brumpers
I know they are not the right ones for our trucks but I have a chance on getting frt & rear chrome bumpers BUT they are for 73-81 Chevy/GMC trucks.. Just wondering if by chance they can be adapted with little to no re-working. I know they wont look right for my year which mine is a 68 C10 but its a good deal for the two. Thanks in advance

I would skip the "good deal" and look around for the correct ones.

Re: 67-70 Vs 73-81 Brumpers
I can tell you from experience that the front one doesn't fit right. I bought my truck recently with a 73+ bumper on it.
![]() It sits up against the front of the body, and it's bent to get it there. Mine was done along with a bunch of other shoddy front end work, which I imagine happened after a front end collision. Seriously though, it's not worth it.

Re: 67-70 Vs 73-81 Brumpers
Ya that's easy to say but every time I find some there clear across the friken US. When I have found some they are in the acceptable range in $$$ but too far away, New are around $160 ea and sometimes I have found both for just a little north of a new one, and they are thinner then the OEM ones. O well I 'll have to keep on looking.
