removing the driver front seat, what is the socket called and it's size for removel of seat from truck thanks in advance

11MM socket works fine done hundreds of them with that. Rebuilding the 99-07 trucks are kinda my thing. Had every nut and bolt from one in my hands many times. Jim

I did some research. They are inverted torx. Definitely not spline.
![]() Inverted torx sockets are fairly cheap. And they are becoming more and more common. |

Before going to buy new tools unless you want to, try the 11 socket.

I bought a universal set of sockets. Supposed to work on 4-point, 6-point, 12-point, & everything in between. They claim to be able to remove rounded head bolts & I might get the chance to test that claim.
