'67 Ignition Switch Housing

I just bought a '67 chrome ignition switch housing. PO set up the ignition switch as an "outie" instead of the stock "innie". I want it stock looking so I got the switch. Goes on fine, but I obviously need some typs of spacer behind the dash pushing the switch back. As it is, it flops forward out of the instrument panel.... So I had to put it back together as PO had it(for now).

I do not know if ITruck is early or late '67. The ignition switch retainer bezel I got is for the early '67 truck. Are the ignition switch spacers the same for both? I haven't seen a spacer marked "early '67", only late. Does this mean only the late '67's needed the spacer and I bought the wrong part?

As usual, thanks for any information y'all might provide.

a pic might help (give you more responces), but i think they both take spacers. I believe the one you need is the shorter one.

the 67 switch spacer is different than the 68-72 spacer. I have not run into a difference between an eary and late 67. I probably have a used one. I can check when I get to the shop tomorrow if interested.
Thanks,Bill
