1960 Chevy c60 build

I have a 1960 Chevy c60 I'm going to start on. I need to get brake parts and would like to make it power brakes. I'm also wantin to put a 12v Cummins in it and was curious if they make an adapter for the transmission that is currently in it.

Re: 1960 Chevy c60 build

You most likely have the SM420 4-spd trans, these are used a lot by offroaders and have some support, but not sure how much. They are known to be brutally strong.

Do research on adapters for that trans and also how to ID them to make sure that's what you have.

I've heard good things about these folks, I'd give them a call: http://www.advanceadapters.com/
