Re: Trac bar question... Help!
Looks like you are missing a bolt , a rod end ,jamb nut a shim for the left side trailing arm and a bracket for the right trailing arm.
Those parts are usually packed very tightly at one end of the box and they don't fall out when you turn the box upside down. I had a customer call me and said he was missing those parts also and I had checked it before I sent it to him. He went back and checked the box and they were stuck in the bottom. ..... Just a thought. |

Re: Trac bar question... Help! UPDATE!
Hello, I have a update. Mario from CPP had a wider trac bar mount made for me. They sent me the prototype and I test fit it and painted it. It was just a tick tight to go on, nothing a hammer couldn't help with. The bar itself did not line up. I ended up cutting the bar apart in a couple places, beveling the ends, lining it all back up, re welding it, and painting it. Not sure if the stock mounting bracket location is the same on a c10 as a c20, but it works now. Here is a pic.
Thanks again to CPP and all of you for helping me out!!!

Re: Trac bar question... Help!
For my C-20 I ended up chopping the bottom off and turning it into gussets for the sides, should be plenty strong. I didn't realize that CPP would make a custome bracket, that's cool! They still don't offer it as a real option or mention it on their site/catalog though. If your C-20 is like mine, the driver side mount is further forward than a C-10 mount... since my mount is already off I'm going to switch to a C-10 mount. It looks like CPP hadn't investigated the C-20 options at all while designing this. A heim on one end would facilitate both mount styles.
