Installing a Powertrax in a Rearend
Anybody had experience doing this. I watched a rerun of Horsepower TV Monday and they installed it in a wagon. It looked like a pretty easy installation but was wondering if anybody has ever done it or had any problems. I know Summit carries one to fit our trucks for around $400. I did'nt want to waste my money if it isn't what they claim.

I just did a search and there wasn't a lot of info on it. I'm just curious about this product and wondering if its worth the money.

we did one in my buddies 88 montecarlo, the first one they didn't send us the springs, but the second one went in in about and hour with 2 of us working on it.............works well too all the benefits of posi but with drivability of limited slip

i'd say it is well worth the 400 bucks..........i plan on getting one for my truck after i am back to work
