Re: Brake rotor id

thats a weirdy, is that a rear rotor? it looks awfully thin and small diameter and unvented to be a front rotor is why I ask. even s10s and camaros had vented rear discs. looks to be 5 on 4.75 pattern from your tape (center of hole to edge of hole)

if its a rear rotor, show a picture of the axle, that may lead to a faster id. if its a front rotor, I have no idea!

edit: with the set screw and the hole for a holding pin, it looks to me like a BMW rear rotor. they didnt have studs, the wheels mount with lug bolts, so you used a pin in the one hole to make sure the set screw hole lined up. I have done a few BMW brake pads let me tell ya

Re: Brake rotor id

Ford Explore uses that style of rear brakes with the shoe style park brake.

If the link works right this should give you a Bosch number that might be easier to find there. it also has the basic measureents
This is for a 1997 Ford Explorer.

From Summit with measurements you can check. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/b...model/explorer

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
