Like the title says, I need the oversize 1inch inside diameter breather grommet for my 68 stepper. Apparently this is an oversize compared to the 69 and later .750 id grommet. This is for the breather hose that connects to the 3" tall spacer between carb and air cleaner.... thanks in advance...

I have seen 2 different sizes at auto parts stores on the little racks in the past, havent had to look for one in a while.

The part numbers for the 1" ID, 1.5" OD breather grommet are as follows.

AIRTEX / WELLS 2P1002

STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS GV6

ACDELCO GR5005

If your parts store of choice can't help you, Rockauto has all three brands in stock.

I think that grommet is listed in the pic.... and it's definitely not d-shaped as the deck, standard, and air Tex replacements are.... heres a pic... I erred in the I'd of the stamped hole as well...it's 1.187 or 1 3/16.... I can't believe a grommet can be this much of a pain to find 😠
