Spelling Saves Lives!
The difference between these two sentences could mean a crash or not:
"Quick, BRAKE the truck!" "Quick, BREAK the truck!" Please, don't destroy a perfectly good AD Chevy; always use your BRAKES!  .

Well,... the truck is going to get BROKE regardless .... in an emergency if you have to spell it out...and you can type that fast and send it ...and if someone is reading the text message while driving....
HOLD ON! on I have to pull over and get another beer out of the ice chest, I wont 2 b safe!!!!

NH/ME words can get lost with voice-to-text also.
FWIW, many of the drivers in our fleet report the Breaks squeal or sound funny. I guess they do have break troubles as they never seem to have enough time to bring the vehicles in to be checked. Speech to text misses punctuation, too. "Let's eat, Grandpa." becomes Let's eat grandpa. Yet another potentially fatal message created by technology.
