I am in TN and need a hood for my K10. Does anyone know where to find one?

Good luck on NOS. They come around every so often but typically go for a pretty penny and go quick. Although after using an aftermarket one I too would prefer to pay a premium and have a better quality hood

Have you search using this website? I actually found some local yards with trucks and didn't even know these yards existed. I had just used a standard search on the web and then the phone book. Then I found this website and it found a bunch of yards that didn't even show up doing the other searches.

I just got a hood for my 86, 15 mins away for $50.

Re: Looking for a NOS hood for 77 K10

I just sent an NOS 79-80 hood down to Jackson, TN for a member! I can't recall exactly what makes a 77 hood different from 79-80.....is it the front bulge on the hood?

Re: Looking for a NOS hood for 77 K10

No, that was my only 73-80 NOS hood left. I have (2) 81-87 hoods and that's it for NOS GM hoods in my collection.

Re: Looking for a NOS hood for 77 K10

I can tell you there's a huge difference between NOS GM and aftermarket hoods when it comes to weight! The GM box w/hood still sealed inside was 93 lbs!

Re: Looking for a NOS hood for 77 K10

And keep in mind you can use a hood from any pickup your year and the blazer and suburban all used the same hoods just the years matter. But is there something wrong with the hood you have or is it gone?
