I'm not really into step sides but this is one that I really like. Miles could very well be true and most likely are. The only way to tell is to inspect it in person, most of us know what to look for... Ya gotta remember, most fire depts. took exceptional care of their trucks while others maybe not so much. These trucks were tools for them and they used them. I'd love to own this truck and I wouldn't touch a thing on it...

Thats weird i talked to the owner of that truck last year at that car show pictured and it was not ex fire truck. IT was part of a construction company plow truck that stopped in the early seventies and was left there for like 30 years all paint was originals but the doors were the logos were.
