WIW/ 1970 Gold Interior

Trying to get an idea of what the gold interior of my 70 GMC Custom Camper is worth. Are nice OEM pieces worth as much as repro parts? I have very nice sun visors, seat belts, dash pad, door Panals and arm rests. Would the painted dash bezel and matching glove box door be worth anything?

Re: WIW/ 1970 Gold Interior

Rob, Just guessing on my part as these are nice GM OEM pieces & not re-pops. These are starting numbers. You might throw the seat in and get a buyer for a complete interior !

Dash Pad - $200

Arm Rests - $100

Seat Belts - $150

Visors - $100

Door Panels - $200

Above figures are just my opinion on value. More opinions would be helpful. Any other members out there with an opinion that can help Rob ? We don't seem to get as much participation as we used to in WIW.

They are worth more than repro because they don't repro it. How is the seat upholstery? If it isn't awful I'd say a grand for all, or down to $800. Mike's prices add up to $750 and I agree w/o looking at his prices very hard. That is some good stuff! I'll give ya $275

Re: WIW/ 1970 Gold Interior

Thanks guys! The seat is in pretty nice shape just a little thin on the driver side. Think I'm going to use it for a recover tho. I'll post it all on the Parts Board once it's all out.

Ad about 1,000 for shipping Tim and you got a deal!

Re: WIW/ 1970 Gold Interior

I think I'll drive out and pick it up

Whatever you price it at, you should sell it like you are the only one on the planet with a gold interior. Not necessarily stupid expensive, but hold your ground. It's not for everyone, but so complete and rare for the correct restoration it ain't funny. Steering wheels can be painted with urethane to hold up just fine

Rob, You might take pics of the seat and save the seat cover for a complete interior.
