Water Pump ID ??'s
I am trying to get my Alternator over on the Drivers side with all the right Brackets and then I can install a better fitting Hard Fuel Line. I have been ask what is your water pump is it a Long neck or a short neck w/p. I have taken some pics can any body tell me what they are talking about?

What year truck? This says long pumps were used in trucks starting in 1973. Your pics look like a long pump.

Short pumps almost touch the timing cover.
Long pumps,you can stick your fingers between the pump and the timing cover. You have a long pump. Mike.
