Need help !

I have a 59 Chevy Apache with a 235 in line 6, 3 speed on column Saganal tranny, I'm wanting to put in a 283 so what bell housing can i use that will allow me to use the same tranny so i don't have to change any of the shifting linkages, any help on this will be greatly appreciated !

Cast iron 55-59 truck bell housing for V-8 with the mounts on the bottom corners. Six cylinder will not work. I believe passenger ones are different too. I could not quickly find a casting number, maybe someone else will chime in.
