WTB sport bumper/brackets 86 k10

I am looking for the rear "sport" (non step) bumper, brackets, lic plate frame, whatever I need to get rid of the massive drop step bumper I have now. I don't have to get it all at once, if you have just one or two things I need, that's fine too. Thanks.

Is this the bumper you're after?

Sort of. I don't want the impact strip and I don't think the brackets from a sub will fit a truck. I'm probably just going to end up buying a new repop and getting everything at once, shipping is pretty much a deal breaker for anything used.

The outer brackets are all the same. The inner brackets on a Blazer or Suburban will not work on a truck. Outer will, inner will not.

I just picked up a nice clean rear with pick up brackets and no impact strip. I think shipping would be killer on it though.

I think you're right. I've about given up on this. I'm close enough to KC that I will probably just go to Chevy Duty (Classic Parts, whatever) and pick one up.

Re: WTB sport bumper/brackets 86 k10

Yeah clean ones are tuff to find! I ended up grabbing an 88 K5 for parts. It has a sport bumper but with 2 impact strips-very very clean too. I'm actually going to blast and powdercoat the hitch and re-use it too! They look good on a 4x4 IMO. If I really like the look, I'll have both bumpers and front guards show chromed. I plan to build a nice harness to integrate the dealer installed Pollak trailer adapter kit better than they did it too.

I too like the sport bumper look on pickups much more than the step bumpers.
