Question Air Bag questions

Can you use stock upper and lower control arms with bags. If so how do you compensate for the negative camber created when the bags are real low on air or aired out. How do you know where to set the ride height for driving. Just call me Air Bag challenged.

For these trucks, air bags have average 'recommended' ride heights (5-6.5"), along w/minimum (3") & maximum (8/9") heights. Typical average air psi is 10#psi = 1" height. Your ride height will vary according to what you find desirable. Some people run the max 90-100psi, some might only use around 75-80psi @ ride height.

Vary your air pressure & drive it some to see what's best for you & your truck. Once you decide on what works, get it aligned @ that air psi. Then you can air it out for the cruise & air it back up to the alignment psi & your ready to go. You can use the stock upper & lower control arms. The neg camber when air'd out is just a side effect of bags.... not much you can do about w/o swapping to a different suspension/geometry.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
