Headers for ls swap with or without drop member
Looking to do 5.3 ls swap in next month or so and lookimg a headers. Would like something that will fit now and will. Fit once i lower using either a pd fab or choppin block drop. Member. Any suggestions

I like the hooker cast manifolds but if you're looking for actual headers you should be able to find your answer with the search button

Thanks guys. Im a holley dealer and they own hooker so i ca. Get them cheap. Was just wanting more of a mid or long tube header i know once i do a drop memeber ill be limited. Just wants shure if anyone has reuaed thier header before and after drop. Member.

I got a random no name brand LS1 headers and it fit just fine.

PB has stainless headers listed on their site. They are shorties but I don't imaging you would want to run anything too long with a drop member., ground clearance and all
Honestly I prefer the hooker manifolds over any headers. |

Another thing to think of if you plan on going with a Dropmember in the future whether it be Porterbuilt or Choppin Block, is the clearance for the steering rack shaft! I went with the Hooker cast manifolds as the others suggested because they provide great ground clearance and have plenty of room for the steering shaft!

Here is a link to a thread I posted in the LS Swap section about some headers that I bought that fit well. The company is Speed Engineering, and they offer longtubes in 1 3/4 and 1 7/8 diameters.
