I'm thinking that last 18 inched of a coil spring truck frame could be the same as leafs except the spring mount?

The frame is straight in that area and 18 inches is about where the center thin crossmember for the spare tire is located. The spring shackles have a raised bead in fron and rear of each shackle location, so it is different.

Since Randy500 can not help I might be able to. Does it have to be a 3/4 ton coil spring frame? I think I have a 1/2 ton coil spring frame that could be cut up. If that will work post over in my thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=665496 and let me know. Thanks
