366 5+2 to gen VI 454 swap?

Looking for your thoughts....
I am considering swapping in a Gen VI 454 from my 2000 bus into my c60/c70 that currently has a 366 with a 5+2 trans. I haven't found much info about if this will work and what the pros/cons might be.

My C60/C70 is:
a '76 c60 Frame and running gear with an '85 c70 cab and nose.

My bus is now my "parts room" and I'm pretty sure the Allison trans is pooched.

I don't know anything about the gen VI 454, if it happens to be a tall deck big block then I would expect everything will just bolt up. If it isn't a tall deck then you might have trouble bolting up the accessories. Since it is in a bus i think there is a good chance it is a tall deck. i think if you measure the width if the intake you will be able to tell. Also the flywheel might be an issue, I don't know if either of the motors are internally or externally balanced. If one is internal and the other external you may have an issue.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
