Crate engine rev limiter. Ramjet350.

I've noticed when doing a burnout in my truck that my trucks motor hits valve float and then a couple of hundred RPMs later it hits rev limiter. It says don't go past 5200k but it's rev limiter is above 6k I never meant to get it that high but I heard it hit valve float and the rpm soared, and then it hit the chip. Anyone know the revoimiter on the ramjet 350?

Did you bend some valves or break something!
You can't have valve float and the engine soar.
Valve float makes it start missing and popping and running like elcrappo!

I sure hope I didn't bend valves, I mean it runs fine.

I have been doing some reading on the Ramjet, and I was wondering about the "break in time" on the engine. How many miles have you put on it since the install?
