Just to clarify for a buyer, is the inner bead to bead surface distance 8" or more like 6"? GM didn't produce an 8" wide steelie but OEM will measure 8" in greatest outer dimension vs bead to bead.

These are original GM 15x8 military wheels that came on the m1009 cuvu Blazer 4x4. I have two sets one set I got from ironmike and these I had shipped here from back east through a surplus military supply yard. I had them sand blasted and powder coated and are super nice![IMG][/IMG]

That's not the general understanding for a plain steel wheel but much for me still to learn. 8" tires yes 8.25" wheels yes. Rally wheels 8" wide after 1972, yes. But haven't seen any OEM 67-72 steel wheels that are 8" wide. Do you have an example? As a1vintage1969 points out these are from the military cucv Blazers.

Sorry to hijack the thread - nice wheels and a good deal for someone.

Pete, there are a couple of threads advertising 15X8 wheels here that show a tape measure on the wheel. 9" out to out with 8" bead to bead. Just trying to help.
