Steering Column IS broke, but on the bright side...

I called a local salvage yard that my dad used to go to, to see if they had a new column, and he said no, but...He said he could repair it LIKE NEW GURANTEED for $100. I told him, "Dude, it's BUSTED." He said it doesn't matter, he can fix it. So, I'll take it to him 2moro and let him work his magic. It's so bad, the column was STUCK on the steering shaft. Where they meet, and the end is splined, it looks like it was GROUND off and WELDED together. Ohh Well, he said GURANTEED.

I bought a tilt column off ebay for 40 bucks not too long ago. but I paid nothing for the perfect tilt that came in my truck to begin with so there :P

tilt columns seem to scare people but once you get to know them they are really pretty simple and not scary at all.... for $100 bux this thing better be t!ts

It's basically DESTROYED. The part where it connects to the steering shaft is WELDED together, and the ignition cylinder is busted, along with the steering lock mechanism, as well as the rod that pushes the ignition switch. In other words, it's FUCT!

For $100, I expect the only thing I'll need to do, is bolt it to the firewall, dash, steering gear, put my steering wheel on, plug in the ignition switch, and be ready to drive.
