So here's my dilemma, whenever I turn my headlight switch on the right turn signal comes on and stays on. If it's in the park light position, the right turn signal and high beam indicator come on. On top of that, the instrument lights in the gauge bezel do not work. I've changed over all the lights in the gauge bezel to LEDs.
Any suggestions? 1. I've already replaced the headlight switch. 2. I've adjusted the ears or whatever they are called on the wedge light bases to insure good contact. 3. I have the wiring harness completely untaped to make sure there is no wire touching that shouldn't be. (There isn't) 4. I've tried traditional bulbs but, I'm short two. The one in the center tries to come on but won't. 5. I've checked the connection from gauge light to the printed circuit, the metal end thing, it's also good. 6. I have flipped all the LEDs around several times. I really need some help here. Any help would really be appreciated. I've also ordered wedge bases that are pre-wired as well, so if I can't fix it, I. Going to use those and see if that will solve the problem. |

Re: Dash and turn signal light problems
sounds like you are lacking for grounds on the lighting circuit and it is back feeding .
